Just Believe won the TAB Australian Trotting Grand Prix today at Melton over 2240m, and he did it in style.
He was at the back of the field and Greg Sugars let him go in the stretch and managed to snatch the victory from Arcee Phoenix.
The race saw Callmethebreeze, a European recently moved to Australia, shoot to the front from the starting gate. But as they headed to the top of the stretch, he gave up and Arcee Phoenix quickly took advantage of that. However, it was not enough. Just Believe sprinted home beautifully to take home the second Trotting Grand Prix.
Interviewed after the race, his driver said that the horse is just amazing, a champion, and gets the job done.
