This Sunday at Vincennes, the Grand National Final will take place. 13 horses will battle it out were only one will take home the trophy.
What is the Grand National Du Trot? (GNT)
This year, 14 total races were ran between the 8th of March and the 22nd of November. The winner automatically qualifies for the final. This year the final will be on the 3rd of December.
Horses also gather points throughout the 15 races (including the final) and the top 3 are rewarded.
But not only the horses gather points, drivers, trainers, jockeys, and amateurs gather points aswell. (Jockeys and amateurs have their own races usually on the same meeting of a normal GNT race).
Grand National Du Trot 2023
This year two horses dominated and the GNT and have been battling it out for months. Gaspar D'Angis won 6 out of the 14 races and Horace Du Goutier won 5. The other 3 races were won by Emeraude Du Bais, Ideal Du Pommeau, and Howdy Partner.
