Two big-hearted mares, Flamme Du Goutier and Dynasty Peji, have been retired from racing.

Two-time Prix Du Cornulier winner Flamme Du Goutier was last seen in the Prix De L'Ille De France last Sunday (finished 5th). Her trainer Thierry Duvaldestin told Paris Turf that she is not the same mare that of 2023 and she does not want to race anymore. He said that her entourage would respect her and stop racing her. She will now rest for 2024 and normally breed her in 2025.

Dynasty Peji has also been retired from racing. Also last seen in the Prix De L'Ille De France, her trainer (and owner) Damien Bonne told Paris Turf that his mare has developed a new leg problem and does not want to hurt her. Explaining how she already went through multiple tendon injuries, he said that it was best to retire her and breed her. She will be bred by Hohneck
