Not seen since his disqualification at Wolvega last month, Westerink's champion Etonnant was quite disappointing in the Amerique Races PMU Q2.
Interviewed by Paristurf after the race, Westerink explained that the horse had been losing weight and also getting dehydrated. He also said that the cause can't be figured out. It started before he traveled to the States to race at Yonkers. He was also asked about the future of his horse and said that he is hoping everything returns to normal very soon, otherwise his winter meeting will be over.
